I’m thankful for all of you who follow me around the world. Since my next distant adventure is to China, Lord willing, I have a Chinese Christmas gift for one of you.
This one-piece creche was hand-carved by a Chinese Christian artist. The dimensions are approximately 5 inches high x 6 1/2 inches wide. The base is 1 inch deep. The main figure is about 1/2 inch thick.
I have a similar one–one of my reminders that Jesus was born to be the Saviour of brothers and sisters from every tribe and tongue.

I have been subscribed for a while now and enjoy reading both of your blogs! I have a small creche collection. One from Italy (out of purple glass), one from Hawaii, and one from El Salvador. One from China would be lovely to add to my slowly growing collection.

I’m subscribed. I’d love a nativity from China, my husband and I have spent some time there (before we met each other) and it holds a special place in our hearts.
I’ve subscribed! Thank you for your love and faith in Christ which always encourages me.
Love the Cheche! Where can I get one in China?
It’s from an upstairs, out-of-the-way shop on a narrow shopping street in Beijing. I believe all the merchandise there was from Christian artisans. Email Jo and ask her. She took us there.
Will do!
I am subscribed. I have been to China and would love the creche. I don’t recall seeing anything like that there. I loved China!

The creche is beautiful and a great reminder that God doesn’t favor one of His children over another! Thanks for the opportunity to win it
I delightfully subscribed !
I am a subscriber. I have several nativities, and am always on the lookout for one where Joseph and Mary are not blonde. (I I do ont have anything against bondes, but doubt tthat Mary and Joseph were blonde.)

I don’t normally do things like this (making myself eligible for giveaways), but my husband and I are about to start the process to adopt a little girl with special needs from China, so this one tugs at my heart! I just subscribed to your blog!

I subscribe and love both blogs
I am already subscribed to your blogs. I would love to receive this wonderful creche. It reminds me of the Advent Tea I attended and hosted a table at on Friday evening which was sponsored by an Arabic outreach ministry. At the close we heard the Christmas Story from Luke 2 in many languages, reminding us that every tribe and tongue will confess Jesus as Lord.

I have loved your idea for collecting creches. I wanted to find one in China, but alas I didn’t, but my friends showed me a business owner who writes Scripture in the beautiful calligraphy style.
I’m a subscriber…thanks Mrs. Piper!
I subscribed – hooray! : -)
I am subscribed, and this is beautiful! You are so right, it is a wonderful reminder of our future worship experience with every tribe and tongue and nation. It also reminds me of Hudson Taylor and the China Inland Mission – I love the two volumes – Growth of a Soul and Growth of a Work of God.
i am a new subscriber. I have never been to China, and just love being connected through friendship and prayer with people in places you will see on the Esther Expedition. Thank you for the blog.
Hi Noel, I’m a subscriber to both blogs. I would love the nativity, but not as much as my mom. She has gotten to know and love many Chinese women who are in the U.S. doing graduate studies on the East Coast. Over the last 5 years, many have come to know and love Jesus and have gone back to China to share Him with their families. It is wonderful!
I’m a subscriber! I can’t wait to read about your trip. It sounds so exciting!
I just subscribed!
